Gloster Javelin - T-shirt Size:3XL This profile is a P-51DGloster Javelin The Gloster Javelin entered service with the Royal Air Force in 1956 as an all weather fighter and interceptor with 46 Squadron at RAF Odiham. It was a distinctive twin engined, T tailed, delta wing jet. In a night fighter role it replaced the ageing Meteor, however its role as an interceptor was made redundant with the introduction of the English Electric Lightning.
